Molecular Scattering of Light in Crystals

1968
The measurement of the intensity of scattered light in crystals presents special difficulties. It is now well known that the intensity of the light of molecular scattering, for example in a quartz crystal at a temperature of 273°K, is seven times greater than in gases under normal conditions.
