The Level of Central Java Counselors Evaluation Competency based on Gender and Workplace Demography

Evaluation competency owned by a school counselor is a determining factor to the effectiveness ofthe service programs given to counselees. Each of the school counselor must have this competencyregardless their workplace. By referring to this background, the purpose of this study was to determine thelevel of evaluation competency of counselors in Central Java analyzed based on gender and their workplace.The study involved 344 school counselors from Junior High School and Senior High School levels in CentralJava. It was done using a survey method with the technique of cross-sectional. The results showed thataccording to the difference level (CE= 4.18 p 0.05). The implication andrecommendation of these findings for future studies are explained in this article.
