ENZYMATIC ACTIVITIES IN HUMAN ONTOGENESIS : FIRST SYNOPTIC TABLES OF HISTOCHEMICAL RESEARCH

1957
After several years of histochemical research at the Genoa Institute of Anatty’ Oil enzymic activit ies during orgaliogenesis and eml)ryoni( different itt ion in man (3-20), we thought it useful to compare the various results. We endeav. oured, vhemiever possible, to work systematically, in order to examine su((essive periods of development . Although we have not examined all the imposing pheutonienology characterizing n orphogenesis and hist ological different iat ion in mami, amid although some techniques which have been employed to demonstrate certain enzymes have not been used on this material, w’e think this study show’s some imutenesting phenomemia of development which are without doubt related to emizymic a(tivities. One of the reasons for w’hich our w’ork is not yet (ompleted is the difficulty of obtaining suitable niatenial, especially in the earlier stages. On the other hand the steady improvemfient of methodology daily increases the scope of our research, solves small and big prol)lems and therefore broadens the limits of this investigation.
