The problem of innovative approach in the field of design is important for the whole building complex. At present, technological capabilities of project organizations have changed, due to the large-scale application of modern design solutions based on innovative software, automated systems, and means of calculation with increased productivity. In today's environment, successful implementation of the project requires extensive use of information technology. A new level of satisfaction of these needs is provided by modern computer-aided design systems implementing the information modeling technology of buildings. In order to determine the direction of further prospective studies in this area, the basic approaches to the study of innovative approaches in the design of construction objects were analyzed and summarized. The ways of complex use of computer-aided design software complexes at different stages of the life cycle of construction objects are offered. The article discusses the design process at the intersection of social and technological aspects at all stages of the life cycle of a construction project. The study develops a new approach to qualitative and quantitative modeling of the process of integrating information between design participants and makes it possible to assess the impact of information modeling of construction projects and new project creation strategies to improve the design workflow. The principle of agent modeling is used to dynamically represent the relationships between social interactions and the dissemination of information between design teams. The article presents a new approach to design workflow management, which focuses on team structures, the dynamics of interaction and information integration.
