Motion vector field interpolation method

The invention discloses a motion vector field interpolation method. The method is used for inserting a motion compensation frame between video image frames. Based on the motion estimation of two frames and motion vectors of four fields, an area is divided into a complex area, an occluded/exposed area and a determined area on an original frame, and an accurate motion vector in the occluded/exposed area is obtained by motion vector correction, so motion vector interpolation is accurately performed at an interpolation position to make clearer and smoother the motion picture of a video image and reduce image trailing to a degree at which the image trailing cannot be perceived by a human eye.
