Changes in Serum Sexual Hormone Levels in Women with Infertility

2001
In order to understand the clinical effects of serum sexual hormone level changes on infertility, 84 women with infertility were divided into four groups. With the use of RIA, levels of FSH, LH, PRL, E 2, T and P in serum of 84 women with infertifity were measured in their follicular phase. It was showed that the serum levels of FSH, LH, PRL, E 2, T and P in four infertility groups were all higher than the given normal standards respectively. Except E 2 ( P 0.05),there were no significant differences between other five parameters among four infertility groups. It has been observed that the percentages of the patients with higher levels of serum E 2 and P coincided with the percentages of the patients with the higher ratio of FSH to LH.
