Современный состав и структура авифауны Наурзумского заповедника

In modern avifauna of the Naurzum Reserve 309 species of birds were recorded, of which 168 are breeding. Taxonomic composition of the fauna represents 19 orders, the largest volume of which on number of species, almost 40 %, belong to passerine. Within the breeding fauna birds of wetland complex is dominate 43,5 % of the total number of species of breeding fauna, forest species make up 28,0 %, steppe species 17,3 %, species of steeps and settlements 11,2 %. Over the past 15-20 years in avifauna of the Reserve 32 new species were recorded, while 3 species for the period from the beginning of research disappeared
