Projeto EDUTEC-ÁGUA: gerenciamento sustentável – saúde, educação e remediação

At the end of 2016 from initiative of the University of Brasilia and partners, it was proposedto the Fundacao de Amparo a Pesquisa do Distrito Federal the nucleation of network for researchingin water. Topics related to agriculture, and use of innovative technologies for watertreatment, well-being of population and the protection of the environment. This network formedof researchers from the Universities of Brasilia (UnB), MatoGrosso (UFMT), Goias (UFG) andMinas Gerais (UFMG), Embrapa and others collaborators from Secretaries of Environment andHealth of the Federal District, and Centers engaged in water research. The promising aspectof this network is the integration of different fields of activity - involving chemists, physicists,biologists, doctors, pharmacists and other specialists, all those adding efforts to creates aninterdisciplinary and multidisciplinary team. The objective of the EDUTEC-AGUA network is toact in strategic target regions of water resources with impacts of agriculture and mining.
