The invention discloses a balance weight pulley block comprising a horizontal wheel structure, a lifting appliance and a hoisting mechanism, wherein the horizontal wheel structure comprises a first steel wire rope, a first pulley, a second pulley, a third pulley, a fourth pulley, a second steel wire rope, a pin shaft, a turnbuckle, a fifth pulley and a sixth pulley; one end of the second steel wire rope is fixed together with a main structure of a crane, and the other end of the second steel wire rope is connected with a balance weight through the fifth pulley, the fourth pulley, the third pulley and the sixth pulley; the first steel wire rope is fixed together with the lifting appliance through the pin shaft and the turnbuckle and wound on the hoisting mechanism through the first pulley and the second pulley. The balance weight pulley block can work together with the balance weight to balance the weight of the lifting appliance for a non-effective working load so as to be not only good in energy-saving and consumption reduction effects, but also strong in applicability and easy to popularize.
