The equipment comprises a ray unit, a detector unit, an image processing and control unit, a re-inspection unit and a storing unit, wherein the ray unit generates a high-energy X-ray beam used for detecting vehicle cargoes to be detected; the detector unit receives an X-ray signal generated by the ray unit and outputs the X-ray signal to the image processing and control unit; the image processing and control unit is connected to the ray unit and the detector unit and controls the two units to be started and stopped; the image processing and control unit receives the X-ray signal output by the detector unit and processes and generates a vehicle cargo scanned image and also comprises a comparer subunit; the re-inspection unit is used for further analyzing the vehicle cargo scanned image; and the storing unit stores the vehicle cargo scanned image. According to the equipment, cargoes in a vehicle can be detected and imaged, and whether the cargoes belong to 'three-waste' products or not can be determined according to the physical shape and grey information of the cargo image, and therefore, the efficiency and accuracy of customs inspection can be improved.
