Influence of Resonators' Offsets on the Autodyne Characteristics of Stabilized Oscillators at the Strong Reflected Emission

The numerical simulation of autodyne characteristics of a microwave oscillator with frequency stabilization by the additional high-Q cavity for various offset values of the stabilizing cavity with respect to autodyne oscillation frequency is performed. It is shown that at exact cavity tuning the best quality of autodyne signals both for the weak and strong reflected emission is provided. Analysis results are confirmed by experimental data obtained for the stabilized hybrid-intergrated two-meza Gunn diode of 8 mm-range.
