The invention discloses a data center intelligent monitoring system based on internet of things. The system comprises a main control unit, an acquisition unit and a protocol conversion unit. The main control unit is connected with the acquisition unit and the protocol conversion unit through a CAN bus; the main control unit obtains environment parameter values, collected by the acquisition unit, of a data center DC through the CAN bus; the main control unit is connected with a peripheral adopting different protocol interfaces through the protocol conversion unit; and the main control unit is used for judging whether the environment parameter values of the DC are beyond a preset normal parameter value range, and generating first DC abnormity information when the environment parameter values of the DC are beyond the preset normal parameter value range. An existing DC monitoring system is of an industrial control computer type; and the data center intelligent monitoring system based on an internet-of-thing hierarchical framework can solve the problems that it is hard for the existing DC monitoring system to realize cascading and expansion, repeated utilization rate of hardware is low, and it is easy to cause unnecessary waste.
