The present invention discloses a method for aging precipitation strengthened copper alloy, heat treatment of metals belonging to the field. The method comprises the steps of: precipitation strengthened copper alloys aging process, to the alloy material is applied to a current density of DC current 10 ~ 600A / cm2 is applied tensile stress 100 ~ 280MPa, the aging temperature is 300 ~ 500 ℃, aging for 2 to 8 hours. The present invention also applied to current and tensile stress in the aging precipitation strengthening type copper alloy during the heat treatment, the copper alloy to improve the deposition efficiency by the combined effect of three kinds of field, to promote uniform discharge precipitates, thereby increasing the conductivity of the alloy to improve the alloy overall performance. Tests show that a current is applied during the aging process and stress fields can improve conductivity and tensile strength after aging treatment of an alloy, the alloy thereby improving overall performance.
