Endoscopic gastrostomy by esophageal obstruction.

2010
: A sparing endoscopic establishment of gastric fistula was developed by the authors. The procedure does not require any special kits for endoscopic gastrostomy. Pezzer 36 Fr catheter is used as a gastrostomy tube. The diameter is sufficient for not only fluids, but relatively solid substances. At the same time, the tip of the Pezzer catheter forces the anterior wall of stomach against the front abdominal wall, preventing leakage and loss of the tube. Thus, the developed method of endoscopic gastrostomy is modern ind minimally invasive. It is efficient for the recovery and long-term preservation of enteral nutrition.
