The invention relates to an electronic device for a vehicle having a circuit board (1) having thereon components for realizing the function of the electronic device, wherein the circuit board (1) is fastened to a vehicle part (8) and at least one contact surface (2), by means of a conductor pattern (6) of the vehicle component (8) is contactable, wherein the invention provides that the contact surface (2) of the circuit board is contacted directly with a corresponding contact surface of the conductor pattern (6) without the interposition of contact means.
