REVIEW OF SOME EFFECTS OF MAJOR ROADS ON URBAN COMMUNITIES

This report reviews research into three particular effects of major urban roads: severance, changes in land use, and changes in property value. The review aims to identify in particular some of the medium to long term effects that have been found by researchers, and to explore the scope for further research into certain of these areas.
