Thyroid hormones low levels in insulin-dependent diabetic young people

In diabetic and above all insulin-dependent subjects, have been shown several kinds of thyroid function abnormalities sometimes even constrating with each other. In order to evaluate eventual difference of thyroid hormones levels in IDDM, we tested a group of diabetic young people, some of wich were examined longitudinally in time, that is from the beginning of the disease and for a variable period, maximum about 3 years
