Efficacy of elastic pressurized haemostat to stop bleeding after radial artery and coronary artery intervention

Objective To evaluate the clinical value of elastic pressurized haemostat.Methods Ninety-one patients after radial artery and coronary artery intervention were randomly divided into haemostat group(n=45) and tradional group(n=46).The bleeding condition of puncture point,degree of comfort and the incidence of local skin complications were observed.The practicability of elastic pressurized haemostat was evaluated.Results The incidence of complications was significantly lower in the haemostat group than in the tradional group(P0.01).Conclusion The elastic pressurized haemostat is easy to operate with good effect.
