Filter medium and method of preparing the same from recycled alumium oxide

PURPOSE: A water treatment filter using recycled aluminum oxide waste and a manufacturing method of the same are provided to variously eliminate heavy metals by being developed as ring-shaped absorber. CONSTITUTION: A water treatment filter using recycled aluminum oxide includes the following: grinding dust waste is collected to prepare main raw materials; the materials are plasticized in a high temperature plasticizing furnace at a temperature between 500 and 600 deg C and is cooled to obtain amorphous aluminum oxide; crystalline gibbsite by rolling and milling, stirring, washing, drying, plasticizing, and cooling the materials; the amorphous aluminum oxide and the crystalline gibbsite are mixed, and inorganic acid is added into the mixture to obtain absorbent filtering media.
