The article deals with the synthesis of automatic control system for the accumulation of fluid in the treatment plant circulating water supply sump, based on the results of modeling of the sump as a dynamic control object. Modern wastewater treatment apparatus at large-scale oil refinery are usually water recycling systems including closed (undrained) systems. Industry aims to improve oil and gas manufacturing and upgrade water recycling system. Modeling and computer experiments with a mathematical model of this system is an effective way to create a control system which allows to evaluate alternative structures and control algorithms, consider the behavior of the control object in emergency situations, such as "salvo" pollution discharges. It requires the development of modeling techniques of circulating water supply dynamic modes, taking into account the delay in the disturbing and control inputs. Settling is widely used in the wastewater treatment process. Almost all drinking water and sewage towns clean stations and industrials have sumps. Wastewater from oil and petroleum products is carried out mainly in the settling facilities. The article presents mathematical description of the dynamics of accumulation of fluid in the sump in the form of an ordinary differential equation with deviating argument. It's analytic solution and computer numerical solution are received. The results are compared. The system of automatic control of the accumulation of fluid in the sump is proposed. The system has controller algorithm synthesized by analytical solutions.
