Synthesis and Properties of Liquid Crystals with Fluorinated Terminal Substituents

Abstract The paper reports synthesis of LC derivatives of different chemical classes containing terminal groups ‒OCHF2, ‒OCF3, ‒SCHF2, ‒OCnF2n +1 and ‒CnF2n + 1 and indicates their phase transition points and physico-chemical properties.
