The invention discloses a dual-redundancy monitoring system based on the internet of things. The dual-redundancy monitoring system comprises a dual-redundancy monitoring center and a dual-redundancy monitoring device. The dual-redundancy monitoring center comprises a wireless repeater, a central monitoring device and a warning and fault displaying device. The dual-redundancy monitoring device comprises two wireless communication modules, two detection sensors, two single chip microcomputers and a power source. The dual-redundancy monitoring system has the advantages that when any one in one set of detection sensor, single chip microcomputer or wireless communication module in operation is broken down, the other set of standby detection sensor, single chip microcomputer and wireless communication module can start timely, a normal monitoring function of the dual-redundancy monitoring device is guaranteed, normal operation of the whole internet of things is not affected, and breakdown positions can be rapidly located through information exchange detection functions of the first single chip microcomputer and the second single chip microcomputer; the dual-redundancy monitoring system is high in fault tolerance, reliability and safety and more humanized.
