Device for harmonizing a channel between lasing and a passive observation path

1998
The invention concerns a device for the alignment between a transmission channel having a laser (LAS) emitting a laser beam (FL) and a passive observation channel comprising a sensor (DET). The device according to the invention comprises means for converting an excitation beam (FE) whose propagation direction and divergence are related to those of the laser beam (FL) into a retropropagatif beam (FC). In one example, the excitation beam consists of a fraction of the laser beam (FL). conversion means comprise a photoluminescent material (22), excited at the wavelength of the excitation beam (FE), emits radiation whose wavelength lies in the spectral band of the sensor (DET). They further comprise an optical assembly (21) for focusing the excitation beam (FE) in the photoluminescent material and for collecting at least a portion of the emitted radiation to form the retropropagatif beam (FC). The device further comprises optical means for sending the retropropagatif beam (FC) onto the sensor and for identifying defects harmonisation.L'invention applies in particular to the target designation system comprising a laser path and a passive path d observation imager type or distance measuring device.
