RADYOLOJİK VE PATOLOJİK TANISI KONAN SAFRA KESESİ FİBROMU: OLGU SUNUMU VE LİTERATÜR TARAMASI Gallbladder Fibroma Diagnosed With Radiology and Pathology: A Case Report and Literature Review

2019
ABSTRACT Fibromas are slowly growing, painless and firm masses which can be seen everywhere in the body, especially in knees and fingers. Gallbladder fibromas are rare tumors and only a few cases are reported in the literature as case reports. In this study we present a 49-year old woman patient who takes gallbladder polyp diagnosis with ultrasonographic and magnetic resonance cholangiographic examination preoperatively. In macroscopic examination of the gallbladder specimen, it had a hydrophic appearance and when gallbladder lumen was opened, a polypoid mass was seen in the neck region. Microscopically a nodule was observed which consisted of oval to round shaped cells in collagenous stroma. Stromal cells showed positive immunoreactivity with vimentin. Desmin, S-100, SMA and CD34 were negative. The lesion was identified as gallbladder fibroma. Keywords: Fibroma; Gallbladder; Ultrasonography.
