Стереотаксическая лучевая терапия методом гипофракционирования и радиохирургия в лечении акустических неврином

Nowadays stereotaxic radial therapy by a method of hypofractionating and radiosurgery of acoustic neurinoma (AN) are the addition and in some cases the alternative of surgical resection of similar neoplasms. 39 patients received treatment concerning AN during the period from March 2010 to October 2012 in radiotherapy unit at NSRICP n.a. academician E. N. Meshalkin. The dynamic observation performed in 6, 12, 18 months after treatment, showed the stabilization of process in most cases. Stereotaxic radial therapy (radiosurgery and hypofractional radial therapy) is effective at AN treatment even in the presence of cerebral trunk compression and neurologic symptomatology.
