Towing cable trailer device and control method thereof

The embodiment of the invention discloses a towing cable trailer device comprising a control device and a trailer rudder plate. The control device collects position information and attitude information of the towing cable trailer device, controls the angle of the trailer rudder plate directly based on the position information and attitude information, or feeds back the position information and attitude information to a shipborne controller and controls the angle of the trailer rudder plate based on an instruction of the shipborne controller. The trailer rudder plate changes the angle under control of the control device, so that the towing cable trailer device is kept to be at a preset orientation. In addition, the embodiment of the invention also discloses a control method of the towing cable trailer device. Therefore, no winding of the tail of the towing cable occurs; and the feather angle during single-cable working can be reduced.
