Technic of bilateral renal transplantation in the rat

Abstract A microvascular surgical technic applied to perfect bilateral renal transplantation in the rat is described. Utilizing segments of the donor aorta and inferior vena cava with the renal vessels, one is readily able to anastomose these vessels to the host's aorta and inferior vena cava. The bladder to bladder anastomosis is then performed. Multiple biopsies can be performed.
