Mineral processing technology research on a low-grade copper-nickel ore in Sichuan

The low-grade copper-nickel ore contains 0.35 % copper,0.35 % nickel,the cpper oxygenation efficiency and the nickel oxygenation efficiency was 16.57% and 21.51% respectively.Base on the study of mineralogical research,copper-nickel bulk flotation process was adopted,absorbent charcoal was used to remove reagent and ore slurry was aerated and stirred for a long time before copper-nickel eparation process in order to obtain satisfactory separation result.Higher technical indicators are achieved with the grade of copper concentrate as 19.50 %,the recovery of copper concentrate was 78.64 %,the grade of nickel concentrate was 3.40 % and the recovery of nickel concentrate was 55.53 %.
