The Fundamental Impetus Provided by the Chinese National Spirit

In exploring the dynamics of China’s rejuvenation, one important element, the Chinese national spirit, should be given particular attention. Since the middle of the nineteenth century, Chinese people with lofty ideals have struggled for an independent, prosperous and strong modern country. This struggle has been driven by the Chinese national spirit, which is characterised by profound wisdom, solidarity and a great urge to become stronger.
