Effect of co-doping of Tm 3+ ions on the emission spectrum of Dy 3+ ion in tellurite glasses

Melt quenching technique was used to prepare the tellurite glasses. Energy transfer mechanism has been discussed. Intense blue-yellow emission has been observed in the Dy-Tm co-doped tellurite glasses which is useful for solid-state lighting.
