Experience and Belief——A Research on the Religious Experience among Han Nationality in Contemporary China

Based on the statistics of The Survey of Religious Experience among Han Nationalityin China,this paper discusses the relationships between religious experience and religious belief,between religious experience and religious behaviors,and between religious rituals and religious faith.It also illustrates the current situation of religious experience among Han nationality in China by demonstrating the following propositions:(1)religious experience can be considered as the basis for religious belief;(2)the tradition of religious experience has been subverted;(3)religious rituals cannot provide Absolute proof to religious faith.
