2010
The purpose of this study is to investigate how the average speed of 5 steps on running start of the triple jump effects on the distance and rate of each phase and the whole record. The subjects of this study are 6 triple jumper players of a high school. To enhance record, the work had been done for 12 weeks writing a training program, especially speed and jump. And had been measured each 3 times before and after a training. The data were analyzed by paired sample t-test and pearson correlation analysis. The results of this study were as follows. First, the average speed of 5 steps increased more significantly after 12 weeks of training than before. Second, the jump distance at each phase's distance increased more significantly after 12 weeks of training than before. Third, the rate of hop distance at each phase's distance decreased less significantly after 12 weeks of training than before, while the rate of jump distance at each phase's distance increased Forth, after 12 weeks of training, this correlation analysis showed that there were significant positive correlation among the average speed of 5steps and the hop distance, the whole record and the hop distance, the step distance, and the jump distance. Also there was a high significant positive correlation between the step distance and the jump distance. and in any other variables there were positive correlations insignificantly. Fifth, after 12weeks of training, in this correlation analysis of the average rate of 5steps, the whole record and the distance rate of each phase, there was a significant negative correlation between the rate of hop and the step distance.
