IRRADIATION CAPSULES FOR ORGANIC SUBSTANCES. CONSTRUCTION AND FIRST RESULTS IN IRRADIATION OF BIPHENYL
1962
The construction of simple and instrumentated aluminum capsules containing several special quartz ampoules for reactor irradiation of organic compounds is described. Problems and first results of diphenyl irradiation are discussed. An apparatus for gas yield measurements is described and first experimental results of dose-dependent gas formation rate as well as G/sub Gas/ and G/sub polymer/ values are reported and discussed.
