Thomas Leopold Venables

Thomas Leopold Venables (“Tom”) was born in Manchester, and went to Cambridge to read medicine, taking up his place in 1958 after national service in the Royal Air Force. After Westminster Hospital he returned to the RAF, and obtained his MRCP. He came to Nottingham in 1970, where he practised until retirement.
