Treatment activity of a new luminescent thermostable Sm(III) complex on preeclampsia

2022
Abstract Reported here is a new 3D Sm(III) coordination polymer, namely [Sm2(IN)5(NO3)(HIN)]n (1, HIN = isonicotinic acid/pyridine-4-carboxylic acid; IN- = the isonicotinate ion), which was synthesized the solvothermal reaction of HIN and Sm(NO3)3·6H2O. The structure of 1 was characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis, elemental analysis and powder X-ray diffraction analysis. The thermal behavior investigation indicated that compound 1 can be stable up to 307℃. Upon excitation of 290 nm, compound 1 exhibits the characteristic emission of Sm(III) ions. The application values of the new compound on the preeclampsia (PE) were evaluated and the related mechanism was explored as well.
