World market has a big Immortelle interest, especially for sort Helichrysum italicum, very well known for its healing properties volatile oil. In this graduate thesis were investigated chemical characteristics different samples of soil intended for laying out new plantations of Immortelle. It is determinates acidity and buffering capacity of the soil, content of all carbonates, content of physiological active calx, content of humus, content of ammonia nitrogen and interchangeably aluminium, content of organic matter and content of heavy metals (Cd, Cr, Cu, Zn, Pb) in all soil samples. Used methods are explained in experimental part. According to obtained results, all samples of soil belong to the group of neutral to weakly alkaline soils, to the group of weakly to middle carbonated soils and physiological active calx is weakly contained in all soil samples. The figure shows that all soil samples have a better buffer capacity in acid media than in alkaline. No one sample showed presence of aluminium, all samples belong to the group of very humus soils. Ammonia nitrogen is well existing in all samples which is seen from the figure. Organic matter content in the samples was from 3.1% to 7.5%. ICP-OES and ICP-MS technics were used to determinate contribution of heavy metals in soil samples present in form of different compounds or complexes and samples are prepared by process destruction using microwave oven and aqua regia. In water eluent of soil samples contribution of Cu, Zn and Cr is determinate using ICP-OES technic and contribution of Pb and Cd id determinate using ICP-MS technic.
