Communication disorders due to frequency and social consequences are factors significantly deteriorating the quality of life of people with cerebral palsy. The authors present the Polish version of the CFCS classification system used to assess the communication skills of people with cerebral palsy. CFCS can be useful to describe the effectiveness of the communication methods and comparison of the extent to which different environments, partners and communication tasks can affect the ability to communicate. CFCS is a complementary tool for Gross Motor Function Classification System (GMFCS) and Manual Ability Classification System (MACS) systems.
