This scientific work is devoted to the research of problems arising in the field of payment services. Namely, the need for prudential supervision of payment service providers. The author analyzes the importance of the consumer’s role in financial services relationships. The necessity of additional tasks of prudential supervision over payment service providers is substantiated. The purpose of this work is to study the prudential supervision of payment service providers.
