A Usability-Oriented Formal Approach of HCI Design Pattern

Various pattern languages and pattern collections have evolved during the last years in the field of human-computer interaction. Current HCI design pattern collections cannot be a good identification for computer because they lack a common organizational structure. In order to facilitate appropriate and convenient pattern retrieval and management, a usability-oriented interface design patterns formal description approach is presented, which analyses the pattern collections and the relationship between these pattern attributes, and then forms a unified specification.
