ANALYSIS OF SECONDARY DISASTER FROM MINE FIRE IN LANEWAY

The security situation of the coal mine is very severe,and great accident appears fre- quently,bringing about enormous loss to the people of our country.Particularly,the hazard caused by the secondary disasters which happen following the primary disasters is much severer.This paper numerically investigated the basic conditions and possibility of the secondary disaster in the coal mine caused by the mine fire in the laneway.The flow volume was decreased(2%)with increase of the mine fire capacity(1.6 MW).When the windpipe was broken in the fire,the methane concentration increased in the region near the laneway end,which easily results the explosion issue.
