Future space-based measurements of cosmic rays

Because the most important scientific objectives in cosmic ray research require measurements of cosmic ray components with low fluxes, the large exposures offered by spacebased experiments will be necessary to make progress. These objectives and experiments designed to achieve them are presented. Both experiments being prepared for launch and concepts for future space experiments are included in this review.
