Chemistry of acetylenic ethers 66: Thermal decomposition of l‐ethoxyvinyl esters

The thermal decomposition of some 1-ethoxyvinyl esters is described. The first step of the decomposition is rearrangement to a β-keto ester, the enolic form of which is subsequently acylated by the 1-ethoxyvinyl ester.
