Development and introduction of technology of low-temperature carbonization of coal in Shale-processing aggregates

The literature on the influence of the rock dumps of coal enterprises of the Ukraine on the ecology of the surrounding regions is reviewed. Investigations on preventing the spontaneous ignition of rock dumps are analyzed. The considerable lowering of harmful discharges when storing the rock in flat dumps is noted. It is shown that with the timely and complete observance of measures for preventing the self-ignition of the dump material, the rock dumps of coal enterprises can be ecologically safe.
