A tape measure

PURPOSE: A tape measure is provided to install a bobbin stopper at a position in which a decelerator exists with moving a bobbin to the inner circumferential surface of the decelerator, thereby compactly manufacturing the same. CONSTITUTION: A tape measure includes a housing (100), a bobbin (200), a guide partition (610), a cover member (630), a coupling protrusion, and a coupling groove. The housing has an extraction hole (130) through which a steel tape (120) is inserted or extracted. A spiral spring at the bobbin inside housing applies an elastic force to the bobbin in order to rotate the bobbin in the winding direction of the steel tape. The guide partitions adjacent to the extraction hole of the housing are formed at both walls of the housing up and down. The cover member is guided inside the guide partitions, moves back and forth, and covers the steel tape. The coupling protrusion is formed at the front lower end of the steel tape. The coupling groove at the front upper end of the cover member is coupled to the coupling protrusion when the steel tape is not extracted.
