Population data of sparsely populated areas in Vietnam.

In this document data are presented on population land area population density and the main ethnic groups in Vietnam. Data are presented for 558 districts comprising the 53 provinces and cities of the country. The main focus of the study is on the 219 districts in which the density of population is below 200 persons per square kilometer. The data are primarily from the 1989 census. (EXCERPT)
