Application of Video Teaching Method in the Standardized Training of New Nurses

New nurse training is a significant research subject. The aim of this study was to investigate effect of the video teaching method in the standardized training of new nurses in RenHe Hospital of China Three Gorges University. Firstly, 43 new nurses admitted to hospital in 2014 were set as the control group using traditional teaching methods to train and 50 new nurses who were admitted to hospital in 2015 were set as the observation group using video teaching method for system training. Then, based on the software SPSS, the theoretical achievements operation result of observation group were significantly higher than that of the control group. The self-evaluation of the new nurses in the observation group was higher than that in the control group. Finally, the training method was discussed in the paper, and Video teaching method is a practical and effective clinical teaching method which is suitable for the standardized training of new nurses.
