State and prospects of scientific and production activities of the Federal Government Unitary Enterprise All-Russia Scientific Research Institute of Synthetic Fibre

The major lines of activities of the Scientific Research Institute of Synthetic Fibre (FGUP VNIISV) with an experimental plant are reviewed, the main types of products manufactured are listed, the priority areas of scientific and production activities of the enterprise are analyzed, and the achievements and the problems needed to be solved in the course of development of science-intensive technological (high-tech) processes are shown.
