On Formulation of Serial Composition in Stockhausen’s Klavierstück XII～XIV

Karlheinz Stockhausen was a German composer, widely acknowledged as one of the most imporrtant but also controversial composers of the twentieth and early twenty-first centuries. Based on researching of Stockhausen music, the papers found out that the creation of his series of piano pieces throughout the composer whole creative process,which was a set of collection represented stockhausen style, include several of his main composition techniques, especially the formulation of composition, the creative method used at most from 1970s to his later period. Based on analysis of Klavierstuck Ⅻ～ⅩⅣ, the papers discussed the creative features of Stockhausen formulation of serial composition.
