A Review of Chemical Constituents,Medicinal Function of Rhizoma Imperatae and Their Application in Health Care Products Development

Rhizoma imperatae has two thousand years history in prevention of disease and health care,and has been widely applied in health care products development in recent years.Some developments have been made in study of chemical constituents,medicinal function of Rhizoma imperatae,but there was no specific quality control method in Chinese Pharmacopoeia 2010 edition.A systematic study of the relation between chemical constituents and biology action is needed to establish an integrated quality control system of Rhizoma imperatae.
