P-253L: Late-News Poster: Analysis of LCD Panel Distortion for Touch Mura Improvement

A calculation of the pressure and deformations of LCD glass was developed using the curvature modeling. This model was used to predict the shift amount between two substrate when touch mura had occurred by touched the panel. Experimental data based on measurement of touch mura level and touch shift are in progress to examine the gap of Panel and BLU form a mechanical mura prevention point of view. We show that reducing of height of arc will experience small touch shift under pushed or touched panel, and longer length of arc will experience smaller touch shift than shorter height of arc.
